Based in Villaines-les-Rochers in Indre-et-Loire (37) they make wicker products of all kinds from their own production : Original baskets creation, contemporary furniture, decorative objects, luminaries (illuminated sculpture), rattan furniture restoration (car seat, Janine Abraham, Mathieu Mategot etc ..).

Catherine is specialized in basketry art. She began to create in 2003 and received a spécial « prize of heart » from Contemporary Art of the S.E.M.A in Paris, (today replaced by the INMA -Avenir Prix Métiers d’Art INMA). Her husband Christophe, received the Best Worker in France (M.O.F.) prize in traditional basketry: baskets, furniture and decorative, storage.
Wicker state of art
French basketry is recognized for its finish and strength quality. Catherine and Christophe grow and transform their own wicker. The exploitation of one hectare (12000 yards square) with four différents wickers varieties. Working together with respect of tradition, Romand’art welcomes you to share their know-how and discover new type of basketry.
